Quality residential care for children in need

Cholmondeley Children's Home provides quality short-term residential care for children in need and support for their families. As well as providing a special haven for children, we run a popular community-based outreach programme for parents. Cholmondeley is supported primarily from the Canterbury community as well as contracts provided to Government and health agencies which pay for our operating expenses.

The 9th Annual Canterbury's Biggest Morning Tea

Everyone loves a delicious morning tea. An opportunity to get colleagues and clients, family and friends, club members and school friends together to enjoy scones and jam. What better reason to take the opportunity sit down, relax and take time to chat in an otherwise busy day. It’s always fun to be the host, so we would like to invite you to organise a morning tea in your workplace, home or clubrooms to help Canterbury's children.
