We’ve been cooking up a fundraiser to bring the sushi of the South to friends of Cholmondeley.
Cholmondeley’s Cheese Roll Fundraiser will share Southland’s greatest delicacy with our community.
For the next month kaimahi (staff) will be collecting as many orders as possible to raise money for Cholmondeley.
Then it’ll be all hands on deck to make and distribute the delicious snacks by the end of September.
If you would like to make an online order please fill out the form and make your total payment into this bank account 03-0162-0158425-00 with your name and CHEESE as a reference. E.g. JOHN SMITH CHEESE by Thursday 21st September at the latest.
Upon receiving your payment your order will be confirmed and you can look forward to getting your hands on the cheese rolls on Friday 29th September.

How do I make an online order?

If you would like to make an online order please fill out the form and make your total payment into this bank account 03-0162-0158425-00 with your name and CHEESE as a reference. E.g. JOHN SMITH CHEESE by Thursday 21st September at the latest.
Upon receiving your payment your order will be confirmed and you can look forward to getting your hands on the cheese rolls on Friday 29th September.
Delivery/pick up details
If you have ordered directly from a kaimahi (staff member) they will get the cheese rolls to you.
If you are a business and have made a bulk order online we will deliver the cheese rolls to you on Thursday 28th September.
If you are an individual we have secured a central city location for you to pick up your cheese rolls on Friday 29th September.
We will be at South City Shopping Centre car park near Durham St from 10am – 2pm on Friday 29th September for you to come and collect your cheese rolls. A red 'X' marks the spot - keep your eyes peeled for a Cholmondeley banner and van on the day.
What if I’m making an order in person?
If you’re lucky enough to know one of our kaimahi (staff) you can sign up on one of their paper forms in person.
Kaimahi will then collect your payment, pay the funds to Cholmondeley and be responsible for getting the cheese rolls to you.
What can I order?
The options are one dozen white bread cheese rolls for $10 or one dozen brown bread cheese rolls for $10.
One dozen = 12 cheese rolls
What will be in the cheese rolls?
While we can’t tell you our secret ingredients we can assure you we will be using an authentic Southland recipe to create these tasty snacks, and making them in Cholmondeley’s commercial kitchen following food safe regulations.
Dietary requirements
Unfortunately we don’t have capacity to cater to any specialist dietary requirements this time.

Timeline
Tuesday 15th August – Orders open
Thursday 21st September – Orders and payments close at the end of the day
Wednesday 27th September – Cholmondeley tamariki (children) and kaimahi (staff) make the cheese rolls
Thursday 28th September - Cholmondeley kaimahi deliver cheese rolls to businesses
Friday 29th September – Individuals can collect their cheese rolls from South City Shopping Centre carpark near Durham Street between 10am and 2pm. Keep an eye out for the Cholmondeley banner and van.
