Sculpture On The Peninsula

Sculpture on the Peninsula is a contemporary sculpture exhibition held every two years. It is the largest sculptural exhibition in the South Island and attracts both leading and emerging sculptors.

The Grand Opening and auction will be held on Friday 8th November.  Opening night will feature performance art and a variety of live music. Joe Bennett will auction 12 artworks created by local artists. Delicious food with an international theme will be served as you wander amongst the sculptures.

You can pick up your tickets for this event online at sculpturenz.co.nz or from Ballantynes from 1st October 2019. The event continues over the weekend, with Loudon Farm in Teddington providing the perfect back drop to view the sculptures with good food, a picnic, and entertainment.

The Lombardy Charitable Trust which organises this prestigious event donates its proceeds to Cholmondeley Children’s Centre. In 2017 they donated $100,000 to support what we do here at Cholmondeley and we couldn’t be more grateful.
