Little Gems Cocktail Party - Centenary Edition
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s Little Gems Cocktail Party, proudly presented by New World Fendalton.
With your incredible support, our premier fundraising event was a tremendous success. Together, we raised a significant amount for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre, helping us continue to provide vital respite care and support for Canterbury tamariki and their whānau.
The evening was filled with memorable moments. We launched Founder’s Spirit, our centenary gin, in partnership with Brandhouse, whose generous support, including providing the evening’s beverages, helps make events like Little Gems possible. The Cholmondeley Home nook sold out completely, and guests showed overwhelming support for the Merivale Mall Little Gems Tree. The Corks kept the dance floor alive, while auctioneers Mark Morrison and Riley Malzard from Harcourts gold brought fantastic energy to the auction and secured outstanding results.
We would like to thank the incredible partners who helped make the evening possible, including New World Fendalton, Harcourts gold, Brandhouse, ANZCO Foods, United Fisheries, and all of our generous auction prize donors. A special thank you goes to Charlie Lattimore from Jewellery by Design NZ for creating two beautiful pieces for the night: a teal sapphire ring that was auctioned live and a cornflower blue sapphire and princess cut diamond pendant that featured on the Little Gems Tree.
We are also so grateful to Valda and the amazing Westpac team for volunteering their time to set up the Limes Room, and to all those who donated auction items, placed bids, volunteered, attended, or supported in any way. Your generosity and support were at the heart of this event’s success.
A special thank you to our wonderful supporters behind the scenes, including Go Media for billboards, Aromaunga Baxters Flowers, Printers Inc, The Moving Company, and Sharron Ballantyne for their time and effort in helping make the evening possible.
We are also grateful to both Metropol Magazine and the talented Victoria Ecclestone for capturing the night. You can view their photos below:
