Growing up in the 1980s, Sheelagh McHaffie’s home life was unpredictable and school was a place where she would get picked on. Throughout the chaos, Cholmondeley provided a calm space for Sheelagh to be herself.

When Fay Kay first heard about Cholmondeley Children’s Centre at a grandparent’s meeting, she hoped it would be the right fit for her granddaughter Vanessa.

12-year-old Alex has been coming to Cholmondeley for eight years and attending Cholmondeley’s quarterly intermediate boys’ weekends for the past few years, to spend time with other boys his age.
